Nancy is the founder of KIDS Crew Learning Center. She has been homeschooling her boys and has been a Learning Coach since 2017. She is an advocate for individualized education and is passionate about supporting students’ various learning styles, diverse backgrounds, interests and talents. Nancy has closely collaborated with specialists including educational therapists, credentialed teachers, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to create a learning environment where children are able to reach their full potential. After witnessing firsthand the positive outcomes of a supportive learning environment and meeting many parents who had a desire to homeschool but were faced with obstacles, she decided it was time to expand into a center where she could support other parents and their children. She has training in the Orton-Gillingham approach and has completed coursework in early childhood education and child development. Her background is in the field of Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics, in which she holds Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees. In her spare time she continues her practice as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).

Maryam has been working with children since 2011. She has supported students in the classroom setting as well as privately at home. She has experience tutoring students of all abilities both in small groups and 1:1. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Special Education. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2020. She is also CMT (Crisis Management Training) certified. She is passionate about helping children thrive in their academic and developmental journey. In her spare time she enjoys paddleboarding and hiking to waterfalls.

Nareg has been an elementary school teacher for the past 4 years. Prior to that, he had a lucrative career as a Financial Advisor while also tutoring children and coaching sports. In 2020, he decided to pursue his true passion as a full time educator. He is dedicated to nurturing every child's potential by having a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students. Beyond the classroom, Nareg's passion for sports and the outdoors shines through. He believes in the power of physical activity to foster resilience, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle, and he eagerly shares this enthusiasm with his students. Making lasting impacts on the lives of those he teaches, Nareg takes pride in shaping the leaders and thinkers of tomorrow with kindness, empathy, and boundless enthusiasm. In his spare time, he enjoys embarking on adventures with his two boys. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Marketing, and a Multi-Subject Teaching Credential.

Vianey is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education and teaching credential specializing in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL). She views SEL as a vital tool for students, parents, and community members to learn critical skills such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making that transfer into adulthood and their careers. Her background is in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis where she has worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children ages 2-17 with developmental or cognitive delays. For the past 4 years, she has worked in a variety of settings including in the home, school, and community. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and enjoys working with students 1:1 and in small groups. Her teaching philosophy revolves around creating an engaging, supportive learning environment and she tailors her lessons to each student’s individual needs to help them reach their full potential.

May has been working in Education since 2018. She began her career by working at a head start preschool and continued working with elementary students at inclusion schools. She values the importance of supporting students through a collaborative approach, with colleagues and parents. She has experience working as a speech facilitator with elementary and middle school students and has over 3 years of experience working with students with special needs, assisting them in accessing educational materials and promoting their independence and development. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Talia is a dedicated and compassionate educator with seven years of experience in diverse educational roles. Her extensive background includes working as a substitute teacher in both general and special education and serving as a teaching assistant in underserved communities. She also has experience working in an Occupational Therapy setting as a fine motor tutor for children with diverse needs. These roles have refined her skills in individualized support and highlighted the importance of empowering individuals to overcome challenges. Talia is committed to creating engaging and supportive environments that address each student’s unique needs, ensuring that every child can thrive. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. In her free time, she enjoys watching scary movies, going to the beach, and traveling.

Talia

Lizette is an English graduate student. She is currently earning her teaching credential from California State University, Northridge in English and is passionate about teaching literature and all English subject matter. She has tutoring experience in the classroom setting as well as privately. She has worked with students in the K-12 grade levels. Her teaching philosophy is that all children are bright, capable, and deserving of a learning environment which fosters academic and personal growth. She strives to provide an environment that is safe, caring, inclusive and accommodates the needs of each student to ensure academic success. In her spare time she enjoys going on hikes and exploring new places.

Bearj is a dedicated math tutor who has worked with students from K-12. In addition, he is a martial arts coach for aspiring young fighters who want to become champions. Bearj is passionate about helping students realize the importance of math and how they can apply it to real life situations. He uses his martial arts background to help students develop strong mindsets and improve their confidence both mentally and physically. His hobbies include judo and wrestling and he holds several titles including 9x State Champion, 4x National Champion, 3x Senior Bronze/Silver Medalist, and 2022 Junior Olympian!
